The Insidious, is one of the most popular series in horror history. There are 5 movies, based on a different dimension called The Further, with a red door as its gate.
In The Further multiple spirits exist, that lived unfair lives and try to regain control over their bodies from different individuals that are able to hear them.
As in, Insidious :Bride in Black is based on the second movie, and Parker Cane, the character.
Growing up with his mother Michelle, Parker Cane was repressed since his mother wanted a girl, resulting in being dressed as one.
Given his traumatic childhood, Parker Cane evolved into a serial killer, who targeted women while he was wearing a black wedding dress.
Papers called him "The Bride in Black".
At an old age, Parker Cane passed away in the hospital and since then...he became one of the tormented souls. He picked Josh's body to inhabit since he was hunting him for years.
Thanks to Elise Rainer and Carl, little Josh was able to forget everything concerning The Bride in Black...and he was safe...untill he had to remember in order to save his son..
